GeForce RTX 5090 repurposed for AI as prices top $5,000

Nvidia's flagship gaming GPU, the GeForce RTX 5090, is selling for more than $5,000 in some markets as AI system builders use it instead of enterprise cards. Launched in January 2025 at $1,999, the card has 32GB of memory versus 96GB on the RTX 6000, which costs $12,000–15,000.
