Linux plans to remove 247k lines of old ARM code

Kernel maintainer Arnd Bergmann published the board-remove-7.3 branch, removing about 247,000 lines of code: 55,000 lines supporting obsolete 32-bit ARM platforms (A1100, Footbridge, OMAP24xx, i.MX31, STM32, and others) and about 192,000 lines of drivers needed only by them. The series of ~300 patches adds about 5,000 lines; removal is expected in Linux 7.5.
