Airtel blocks 1.62 million malicious links, flags 98.4 billion spam calls

Airtel said its AI-powered Safe Network has detected 98.4 billion spam calls and 4.4 billion spam messages over two years, while blocking more than 1.62 million malicious links. Launched in September 2024, the network-level service also covers OTP fraud protection and verified business name display.
