Gigaphoton tests L300KZ laser for mass production of fusion magnet wire

Japan's Gigaphoton has deployed its industrial excimer laser L300KZ at a commercial wire-making plant in Japan to trial high-volume production of REBCO superconducting wire via pulsed laser deposition. The project is backed by the Japanese Cabinet Office under Goal 10 of its Moonshot R&D Program.
