Meta Glasses to Become a $149.99 FDA-Cleared Hearing Aid

Meta announced Hearing Enhancement at its September 23 Connect event: its smart glasses will work as an FDA-cleared hearing aid for a one-time $149.99 fee. Users take a hearing test in the Meta app, and the glasses boost sound accordingly. The feature is for adults 18+ with mild to moderate hearing loss and launches in the US later this year.
