Meta details privacy measures for its smart glasses lineup

Meta VP of wearable devices Ming Hua said at a media roundtable in Menlo Park that privacy remains central to the glasses' design: the recording LED stays, a loophole letting users cover the light after recording began has been closed, and private processing will soon reach Live Translations. Meta also removes violating content and accounts and blocks search terms about tampering with the glasses.
