Asahi fork Gravity Linux boots accelerated desktop on M4 Mac mini

Gravity Linux, a Fedora-based fork of Asahi Linux, released its first alpha with an accelerated desktop for the M4 Mac mini. Developers Cody Ho and Niklas Sheth built an M4 GPU driver in about a month using largely unattended LLM loops, a method Asahi explicitly forbids.

• Alpha supports OpenGL ES 3.0 and OpenGL 3.3, but USB-C, Thunderbolt and suspend don't work
• M4 GPU driver was built in roughly a month via LLM loops
• Asahi Linux forbids generative AI for material contributions
• Release targets developers, not daily use
