EVs Hit 29% of New Car Sales in Europe in August

According to ACEA and ICCT, 29.2% of new car registrations in the EU, UK and EFTA countries in August were electric, up from 20.2% a year earlier. EVs held a 23.2% year-to-date share, while hybrids led with 32.8% in August. BMW Group had the highest EV share at 30%.
