Lawmakers propose bills for CISA to defend biotech as critical infrastructure

A bipartisan group of senators and representatives introduced two bills directing CISA and DHS to protect biotechnology, biomanufacturing and biological data. The measures do not create a new critical infrastructure sector, instead folding biotech into existing ones.
