ChatGPT drives 95.1% of AI referral traffic to websites, BrightEdge says

ChatGPT accounted for 95.1% of traffic AI chatbots referred to websites in August, its highest share this year, per BrightEdge. Its referral traffic grew 101% from January to August and 36% in August alone. Gemini followed with 2.4%, Perplexity 1.1% and Claude 0.8%.
