Meta shows Horizon Create, an AI game engine for Facebook and Instagram feeds

At Meta Connect 2026 the team demoed Horizon Create, a reboot of Horizon Worlds built around an AI engine that generates playable games from prompts and runs them directly in Facebook and Instagram feeds. Publishing takes two taps, asset imports and collaborative world editing are supported; rollout is expected in early 2027 with testing already open.
