Bungie to add permanent PvE mode to Marathon in December

Bungie has outlined a Marathon roadmap: the Symbiosis update in December 2026 will add a permanent PvE mode, Team Deathmatch and a reworked Perimeter map with a new Tick Queen enemy. From March 2027 the game will evolve into an interconnected system of PvE, PvP and PvEvP experiences.
