Tesla builds first Cybercab with in-house cathode material

Tesla has assembled its first production Cybercab using cathode active material made at its own plant at Gigafactory Texas. The structural pack uses dry-cathode 4680 cells with 47.6 kWh of usable capacity, and the in-house process cuts greenhouse gas emissions by 74% versus tier-one suppliers.
