Gartner: Everpure tops HPE in infrastructure-as-a-service ranking

Gartner published its Magic Quadrant for Infrastructure Platform Consumption Services (IPCS), covering storage and compute delivered as-a-service. Everpure, HPE and Huawei lead in that order, while Dell, Hitachi Vantara, IBM, Lenovo and NetApp sit in the Challengers quadrant and Fujitsu is the only niche player. Gartner expects consumption-based STaaS to replace 50% of on-premises storage capex by 2029, up from 20% in 2026.
