First stellar stream beyond the Milky Way could reveal dark matter

An international team led by Julie Kiel Holm (Niels Bohr Institute) and Sarah Pearson (DTU Space) reported the first globular cluster stellar stream found outside the Milky Way, in the ultra-diffuse galaxy UGC9050-Dw1. Published in Nature, the work shows such streams can be used to measure dark matter in other galaxies.
