OpenAI's GPT-6 Astra completes real-world driving course in DrivingBench test

Researchers at DrivingBench tested commercial AI models driving a Toyota Corolla around a cone course. GPT-6 Astra was the only model to finish: 134.7 meters in 5 minutes 22 seconds, burning 6.6 million tokens for $7.74. GPT-5.6 Sol, Grok 4.6 and Claude Fable 5.1 failed to complete the route.
