Amazon admits it doesn't know how to reach net zero by 2040

Amazon's chief sustainability officer Kara Hurst said the company doesn't know how it will achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2040. Amazon remains one of the largest buyers of clean energy with a 42 GW portfolio, yet is building a 7.65 GW natural gas plant to power an AI data center.
