Windows 11 KB5124010 update crashes Battlefield 6 and Wardogs

The optional KB5124010 patch for Windows 11 24H2 and 25H2 is crashing Battlefield 6, Wardogs and other games protected by EA's Javelin anti-cheat. Uninstalling the update is the only known workaround, and Microsoft has not yet acknowledged the issue.
