BYD's new ultra-luxe Yangwang sedan has coach doors, may get solid-state batteries

Yangwang, BYD's top-end brand, is preparing an ultra-luxury sedan spotted testing in China with a design close to the Rolls-Royce Phantom and BYD's first rear-hinged coach doors. Internally called "HU," it may be BYD's first model with solid-state batteries, which FinDreams aims to produce in limited batches in 2027. Reports point to the quad-motor e4 platform with over 1,000 hp and a price above 2 million yuan (~$300,000).
