Rivian recalls nearly 99,000 EVs over backup camera issue

Rivian is recalling 98,828 vehicles — R1S, R1T and early R2 units — because a software pop-up can obscure the backup camera image when shifting into reverse. It is the first recall for the R2; the fix is a software update already installed on 95–96% of affected vehicles.
