Ubuntu Kernels Move to Weekly Releases for Faster CVE Fixes

Canonical is replacing its four-week kernel SRU cycles and two-week security cycles with a unified two-week process, meaning Ubuntu will effectively get a new kernel release every week. The change is driven by the growing volume of Linux kernel CVEs from automated vulnerability discovery and the kernel project's CNA status.
