IonQ to install Superion 256 quantum computer at Nvidia's Boston research center

IonQ will deploy the first on-premises quantum computer at Nvidia's Accelerated Quantum Research Center (NVAQC) in Boston in 2027. The Superion 256, IonQ's sixth-generation system with a 256-qubit QPU made by SkyWater, will link to an Nvidia GB200 NVL72 via NVQLink and CUDA-Q.
