CS2 update adds 3v3 Rush mode and reworks Premier map picks
Valve released a Counter-Strike 2 update introducing Rush, the game's first new mode: a fast 3v3 format with a tug-of-war tower and a pool of 15 maps. Premier's map bans are replaced by a pick system where teams choose 1-2-1 maps and one is randomly selected.
- Rush is a 3v3 mode on 15 maps; a win can come in four straight rounds, up to 15 rounds
- Premier now uses 1-2-1 map picks followed by a random draw from the four chosen
- Crosshairs are now resolution-independent with new styles and a Crosshair/Scopes tab
- Silent reloading takes longer, and unscoping the sniper rifle is now fully silent
