Sega confirms new Sonic game is in development

Sonic Team head Takashi Iizuka said at Tokyo Game Show that a new Sonic game is in development. He promised a "whole new kind of gameplay experience" spanning characters, story and game systems, building on ideas from Sonic Frontiers.
