Valve releases SteamOS 3.8.28 Beta and a new Steam Client Beta

Valve released SteamOS 3.8.28 Beta alongside a Steam Client Beta for all platforms. The small updates fix performance degradation after sleep on AMD discrete GPUs, a GPU memory leak and streaming flickering.

• Fixed performance degradation after sleep/resume on AMD discrete GPUs
• Fixed GPU memory leak when frequently changing resolutions
• Fixed glyphs for Xbox Elite Controller paddle buttons
• Encoding switched to compute queue to avoid contention with game GPU usage
