AI is killing grunt work, forcing companies to rethink entry-level hiring

AI is increasingly handling research, drafting, coding and admin tasks once given to junior employees. An Open University survey of 1,500 UK business leaders found 51% say AI is changing how they hire, and 19% have cut entry-level recruitment, with 42% of those citing AI. At London ad agency Catalyst, one junior now manages five client accounts instead of several staff.
