Google Photos Backup Coming to Samsung Gallery

Samsung is preparing to integrate Google Photos into the Gallery app on Galaxy devices with One UI 9.0. The Gallery Cloud Sync system app update (version 1.6.09.31) already contains the relevant changes, but the feature is not yet visible on the Galaxy S26 Ultra beta. Microsoft OneDrive support ends on September 30, 2026, and Google Photos may replace it starting October 1.
