NTT Docomo deploys Nokia's latest Open RAN kit

Japan's NTT Docomo has begun commercial operation of Nokia's newest base stations for multi-vendor Open RAN networks, becoming the first operator worldwide. The gear supports 4G and 5G, uses Dual Boost Massive MIMO antennas and Levante and Ponente software.
