Claude's merged chat and Cowork vs ChatGPT Work mode: speed vs depth

Anthropic merged Claude chat and Cowork into one interface with automatic task routing, while OpenAI has offered Work mode since July. In three head-to-head tests, ChatGPT was faster (28 seconds vs 4 minutes on log analysis), while Claude gave more thorough answers and named its methods.
