Electrification of commercial vehicles accelerates at IAA Transportation 2026

IAA Transportation 2026 opened in Hanover with 1589 exhibitors from 46 countries. Volvo showed electric FH, FH Aero, FM, and FMX; MAN displayed a lineup from eTGL to eTGX with up to 720 km range; Daimler presented eActros 600 with 160 million km driven by customers. Daimler plans to deploy 100 hydrogen NextGenH2 trucks with over 1000 km range from late 2026.
