Flock Nova links license plate readers to police databases

Flock Safety launched Nova, a platform letting police search RMS, CAD, jail and public records through a single interface keyed to a license plate. Forbes reported an officer could query a vehicle owner's criminal history or mental health conditions without a warrant. Flock operates plate readers in 49 US states, with no confirmed deployments in Canada or Europe.
