Xbox announces new layoffs and studio overhaul: Halo moves to Activision

Xbox confirmed 268 roles are being eliminated across Halo Studios and other first-party teams, completing roughly three-quarters of its announced restructuring. The Halo franchise will move to Activision, World's Edge and Rare also go to Activision, Obsidian folds into Bethesda, Turn 10 merges with Playground, and Ninja Theory faces a proposed closure.
