Amateur astronomer spots 390-million-year-old impact crater on satellite maps

Amateur astronomer Joël Lapointe noticed a circular feature near Lake Marsal in Quebec on satellite imagery. A 2025 expedition confirmed the roughly 25 km Uhackatik impact crater, formed about 390 million years ago.
