ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 Hits 215W With Experimental Power Unlock, Runs Near Thermal Limits

An experimental NvpwrControl utility pushed the ASUS ROG Zephyrus G16 to roughly 215W combined CPU and GPU power, with the RTX 5090 drawing about 185W and the Intel Core Ultra 386H around 31W. Temperatures reached 84°C on the GPU and 95°C on the CPU, while fans spun at up to 6,800 RPM, close to thermal throttling.
