Adidas unveils Adizero Adios Pro 5 without EnergyRods, priced at $275

Adidas has announced the Adizero Adios Pro 5, dropping the EnergyRods system that defined the line for six years in favor of a new carbon ENERGYRIM structure around the midsole. The shoe weighs 175g in a UK 8.5, 12.5% lighter than the Adios Pro 4, with a claimed 9% gain in energy return. It launches globally on 22 September for $275 / €275.
