Highlights from Splunk .conf26 and what the news means to network engineers

At the Splunk .conf26 conference (September 14–17), Cisco announced the Network Intelligence App for Splunk Observability, combining network topology, device status, and events. Integration with ThousandEyes was also expanded for synthetic testing, and observability for AI agents was added.
