Morphotonics raises €40M to expand display tech into data centers

Dutch startup Morphotonics has raised €40 million to scale production of nanoimprint lithography (NIL) equipment used to make displays for AR glasses and other optics, and to push into optical components for data centers. The round was backed by 3M Ventures, Innovation Industries, BOM, Invest-NL, the EIC Fund and the EIB. Its next machine, due to ship early next year, will be able to produce more than 6 million waveguides annually.
