Phone price hikes in India to boost Apple and Samsung second-hand market

Rising memory and component costs pushed Apple and Samsung to raise prices in India: the iPhone 17 (256GB) went from Rs 82,900 to Rs 99,900, and the iPhone Air (256GB) from Rs 1,19,900 to Rs 1,49,900. Demand for used devices from both brands is expected to grow thanks to long software support and strong resale value.
