Windows 11 finally lets you move the taskbar to any screen edge
The September 2026 Patch Tuesday update KB5124008 restores the ability to place the Windows 11 taskbar on the top, left, or right edge, as in Windows 10. It also adds Small and Large Start menu presets with independent section toggles, and the Power menu no longer forces update installation.
