Microsoft’s new India cloud region to use effectively “zero water” for cooling: Microsoft India President

Microsoft announced the launch of its fourth cloud region in India — India South Central in Hyderabad. The data center will be cooled with effectively no water and is initially designed for AI workloads; the company has contracted 1 GW of renewable energy, of which 630 MW is already connected.
