Posco Future M to supply LG Energy Solution with 720,000 tons of battery materials

Posco Future M and LG Energy Solution signed an MOU covering 720,000 tons of cathode and anode materials from 2027 to 2033. The deal spans LFP and ultra-high-nickel cathodes, artificial graphite, and materials for sodium-ion and silicon anodes, with a formal contract expected by year-end.

• Supplies cover seven years, from 2027 through 2033

• Scope includes LFP cathodes and artificial graphite anodes
• Partners will jointly address FEOC and EU IAA rules
