Apple's eighth-gen iPad mini brings an 8.5-inch OLED display, A20 Pro chip, Wi-Fi 7 and IP67 rating. But the screen remains locked at 60Hz with no ProMotion, reportedly due to an LTPS panel from Samsung and power-efficiency tradeoffs, at a starting price of $699.
