Bluesound's native Apple Music integration is limited to 256kbps AAC

Bluesound added native Apple Music support to its BluOS app for Bluesound, NAD, PSB, DALI, Cyrus and Monitor Audio devices. The integration uses Apple's MusicKit API, which only serves lossy 256kbps AAC — no Lossless, Hi-Res or Dolby Atmos — despite Bluesound hardware decoding up to 24-bit/192kHz. Sonos remains the only multiroom system with unrestricted Apple Music integration, having struck its deal before MusicKit existed.
