Claude Code 2.0 adds instant rewind and a VS Code extension

Anthropic released Claude Code 2.0 with checkpoints and a /rewind command: pressing Esc twice restores the workspace to its state before the agent's edits. It also ships a beta VS Code extension with live inline diffs, a /usage command showing token and dollar spend, and a Tab-toggled thinking mode.
