Meta tests Threads Friends for sharing posts with smaller groups

Threads is testing "Threads Friends" in Ireland, Italy and Japan, letting users share posts with a list of up to 50 friends instead of all followers. The app suggests followers you engage with often, and a green bubble shows friends-only posts from the last 24 hours.

• Test runs in Ireland, Italy and Japan
• Friends list holds up to 50 people and is customizable
• Friends feed shows posts from the last 24 hours
