Rivian R2 becomes the company's best-selling vehicle

Rivian reported Q3 2026 revenue of $2.155 billion, up 38% year over year, as the mass-market R2 outsold the R1T, R1S and EDV for the first time. Software and services brought in $256 million in profit at a 42% margin, driven mainly by licensing tech to Volkswagen and Autonomy Plus subscriptions.
