XPENG L05 launches in China as a longer L03 from 144,800 yuan

XPENG has started sales of the L05 in China, a stretched version of the L03 built on a 400V architecture. It measures 4,870 mm, uses 58.2 kWh and 71.1 kWh batteries for up to 635 km CLTC, and is priced from 144,800 to 176,800 yuan ($21,722–$26,522).

• L05 is 4,870 mm long versus 4,650 mm for the L03, adding roughly 50 kg
• RWD version with the 71.1 kWh battery offers 635 km CLTC, down from 650 km in the L03
• 183 kW motor delivers 0–100 km/h in 6.8 s; 10–80% charging takes about 20 minutes
• China pricing runs from 144,800 to 176,800 yuan; an EREV variant claims 1,310 km combined range
