Google Photos update fixes bug that hid edited pictures from other apps

Since around July, editing a photo in Google Photos made it invisible in the image picker of apps like Telegram and WhatsApp on Android. The fix shipped in Google Photos v7.97 and the bug no longer occurs in v7.98.

• Bug hid edited photos from Android's system image picker
• Fix arrived in Google Photos v7.97; v7.98 also confirmed clean
• Workaround was saving an edited copy instead of overwriting
• Google acknowledged the issue last month and promised a fix
