Samsung fined $15.2M over undisclosed Galaxy gaming limits

South Korea's Fair Trade Commission fined Samsung 20.114 billion won (about $15.2 million) for advertising gaming performance of the Galaxy S21, S22 and Tab S8 without disclosing Game Optimizing Service limits. In PUBG: New State the S22's CPU clock dropped from 2.99GHz to 0.94GHz and GPU from 818MHz to 220MHz. Samsung plans to challenge the ruling.
