YourOwnWeigh bypasses Withings subscription for data syncing

Developer Tom Anthony released YourOwnWeigh, an open source project that reroutes Withings scale data away from the company's servers so it can be synced to third-party apps for free. It was built in response to Withings Plus, a subscription the company now requires for new users to sync health data. The project currently supports only two older Withings scale models.
